If I had to guess, you’re shaking your head “no.”

I was talking to my friend Susan the other day. She told me that recent blood work showed that her kidney levels were off, and her doc asked her how much water she drank per day. She admitted not enough.

Water is essential for every cell in the body to function correctly. Here are some benefits:

💧aids the digestive system

💧helps prevent constipation

💧flushes toxins from the body

💧keeps your joints and muscles lubricated

💧supports healthier and younger-looking skin.

How much water should you drink?

Well, our friends at the Mayo Clinic recommend 92 oz for women, and 124 for men. If you are more athletic, then you should probably add at least 10 oz to these numbers (I drink at least 104 oz each day).

Believe it or not, only 20% of your daily water intake comes from the foods you eat- you need to make the rest up with liquids.

As the warmer weather approaches, now is the perfect time to get your water needs dialed in. Now I know what you’re thinking: “But Paige, plain water is gross, and I much prefer coffee.” Well, I feel that. So here are some tips to make it easier to remember to drink your water:

🍓Infuse it with berries, lemons, limes, and/or oranges. Mint is also a great option

🍽️Drink at least 8oz immediately after you wake up, and before every meal

☕️Drink equal parts water with your coffee. I keep my water bottle on my desk, and I drink 1 sip of water for every sip of coffee. Pro tip: that also helps stop your teeth from staining.

🌟Keep a water bottle with you at all times- at your desk, in your car, in your gym bag…

📱Finally, track your water intake with an app.

This is one reason why I love the FASTer Way’s app. It has a water tracker right on the home page, so it’s never far from view. And as your coach, I will work with you to come up with your water number goal, and I will encourage you to meet that number.

Water is also a key to keeping your skin hydrated and looking fab. If you’re noticing some dull skin, let’s give you an extra boost with one my my favorite moisturizers, NuSkin’s Dew All Day. You can use it morning and night, but if you prefer something a bit more stout for nighttime, grab some Pillow Glow.

If you’re looking for some help with your hydration and nutrition in general, I’ve only got 3 spots left for my next 6-week round, starting on June 9. Summer is almost here, and this is the perfect time for whole body reboot. From now until May 31, use the code “MAY50” to get $50 off! And yes, even if you sign up in May, you can start with me in June. 🎉

Comment below if you have any questions. If you committed to drinking more water this week, then drop me a 💧

As always, thanks for being here and thanks for reading.

Paige ❤️
